2025 Yearly Activities

Janmashtami (16 August 2025)

In Holy Shrine Inter College, little children dressed as Radha and Krishna and celebrated Janmashtami joyfully, spreading happiness, devotion, excitement, and festive spirit everywhere.

Independence Day (15 August 2025)

“Independence Day was celebrated with great pride at Holy Shrine Inter College. The program began with the flag hoisting and National Anthem. Our chief guest Mr. Nitesh Dhawan Ji (Director KVIC), along with Ms. Jyotsna Kaur Habibullah and Dr. Pooja Gulati, graced the occasion. Students presented patriotic dances, melodious songs, and inspiring speeches, while teachers motivated everyone with their words of wisdom. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and flowers, creating a patriotic atmosphere that filled all with immense joy, respect, and love for the nation.”

GLIMPSES OF THE YEAR THAT PASSED BY

The new session for 2024-25 started in the first week of April with Prize Distribution for the last Academic Session’s winners.

14th April-

The beginning of the new session brought us good news as our students participated in various programmes organised at “Poila Baisakh” by the “Bengali Adda” at Sangeet Natak Academy, Gomti Nagar. Our student Runjhun Yadav won the Second Prize in the Art Competition.

10th May-

Inspection of our NCC Platoon was carried out by the CO of the 67th Battallion NCC, Col Punit Shrivastava. The discipline of our cadets was impressive.

14th May-

A Voters’ Awareness Rally was taken out by our students and NCC Cadets to emphasise the importance of casting one’s vote to strengthen our democracy.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY - 18th May

The school has 4 Houses; Courage, Compassion, Patience and Knowledge. To inculcate leadership qualities amidst the students we have a Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice Captains and Prefects. They are given badges and they take a pledge to fulfill their duties with utmost sincerity and dedication. The Chief Guest of our Investiture Program was Dr. Seema Choudhary. Mr Gaurav Human from Kalki Art of Self- Defence and Ms Mohsina Mirza from Hyderabad Public School were special guests of honour. We were graced with the presence of Col R. K. Singh, President of RWA of Manas Vihar and Mr. M.B.S. Rajawat. It was a moment of great pride as our students were invested with responsibility.

22nd May-

Carrying forward the message of Earth Day which had been celebrated on 23rd April where our NCC Cadets had planted trees, the school children prepared a skit on “Save the Earth” which was enacted in the Assembly and the children were sensitised on Sustainable Development Goals.

28th May-

Bhandara on Bada Mangal- As always, we Holy Shriners believe in giving back to the society. A Bhandara was organised in scorching heat to give “ poori sabzi, chola chawal, raita and boondi” to more than a 1000 persons. We seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman ji to bless us always.

2nd-12th July-

Our NCC cadets attended a 10 day camp where 2 of our cadets, Priya Gautam and Pushpanjali Mishra got gold medals .The camp lasted till 12th of July .

26th July -

After reopening of the school after summer vacation, study mode was on. Kargil Diwas was celebrated with immense sincerity as our students and the NCC Cadets paid homage to the martyrs of Kargil. The Prime Minister’s “Mann Ki Baat” for NCC Cadets was aired on the projector and they were shown the film “Uri, The Surgical Strike”.

15th August-

The national festival of Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic zeal and fervour. It was started with the hoisting of our beloved “Tiranga”. The students presented a great variety of cultural programmes to mark the day. “Laddoos” were distributed to all the students.

17th August-

Our tiny tots of Holy Shrine Little Stars celebrated “Raksha Bandhan” where they were told about the eternal bond of love between a brother and a sister.

27 th August-

Our Little Stars celebrated “Janmashtami” with great enthusiasm as they came dresssed as Radha Krishna and danced with joy.

3rd September -

Our platoon of NCC cadets was invited to be a part of “Armed Forces Festival Day” at Butchery Ground in the Cantonment. The event was graced by Chief Minister Shri Adityanath Yogi ji.

5th September-

Teachers’ Day at Holy Shrine Inter College is always celebrated by wishing our Founder Director Nani Ma’am a very happy birthday. The Head Boy and Head Girl garlanded her to start the day with her blessings. Thereafter the students organised a variety programme for their beloved teachers . Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was paid homage by Director Mrs Ujjwala Shanker, the Principal and other teachers. A delicious cake was arranged by the Management for the teachers which was enjoyed by all. The teachers’ great task was acknowledged
with small gifts from the Management.

8th September-

Our students participated in a National Level Quiz Competition organised at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. by the Bank of Baroda to enhance financial Literacy All students received
Certificates of Participation.

13th September-

“Ganesh Chaturthi” Celebrations

22nd September-

Our NCC cadets again participated in the Marathon, “Run For Her” organised to encourage the girl child at 1090 crossing. The event was graced by Dr. Dinesh Sharma, honourable Member of the Parliament.

2nd October-

A “Prabhat Pheri” was organised in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri and their contribution to nation building was emphasised.

10th October-

The day marks the beginning of Swarn Sadana Month Memorial Activities carried out in the fond memory of Director Ma’am’s late son, Swarn Sadana. The day started with the participation of more than 7 schools of Lucknow in an Inter School Competition. Various activities such as Debates, Essay Writing, Rangoli Making and Singing Competition were organised. We are proud to say that the Champion’s Trophy was lifted by our all rounder Holy Shriners.The event was graced by Mr Gaurav Prakash, Mrs Anita Mishra , Ms Charu Srivastava, Mrs Geeta Shukla to name a few. Judges on 10th of October were Mr ON Shukla, Kesari Prasad Tripathi, Mrs Asha Verma, Mrs Madhuri Pandey, Mr. RB Vishwakarma, Mrs. Preeti Singh, Mrs. Kshitij Shukla and Mr. Gaurav Prakash and Mrs. Priyanka Malik.

11th -31st October-

Various inter house competitions to celebrate the Swarn Sadana Memorial Month were held in school ranging from debates, dramatics, extempore speech, singing, calligraphy, Shlokapath etc to encourage all round development of students.

29th October-

There were “Deepawali” Celebrations at school for our Little Stars and they made colourful “Rangolis” with flowers to mark the occasion.

11th November-

The culmination of the Swarn Sadana Memorial Month Activities was with the Grand Finale and Prize Distribution. The school was honoured to have Mr Gary Dominic Everett, Principal, LaMartiniere Boys’ College, Lucknow as Chief Guest and Professor Nishi Pandey (Professor of Eminence at the Lucknow University) as Guest of Honour. Mr Gary Dominic Everett addressed the students and told them how they could continuously become better versions of themselves. He was gracious to present the Cock House Trophy and other prizes to deserving students. Professor Nishi Pandey also gave her blessings to the students. The event was also graced by Advocate Tanushree Singhal,
Mr. Fakhre Azam, Dr Shakila Bano Hasan, Mr Amit Singh, Deepali Bahadur Mathpal, Dr. Ambuj Shukla and other eminent persons from the society.

14 th November-

Children’s Day was celebrated and chocolates were distributed to all the students.

24th December-

Christmas was celebrated with joy and an inter class competition on class board decoration was organised. Class 1 and Class 7 won the prizes in the junior and the middle school category.

23rd January-

The school reopened in biting cold in January 2025. On 23rd January on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose our NCC Cadets participated in the “Parakram Diwas” celebrated at KD Singh Babu Stadium. The event was graced by Chief Minister Sri Adityanath Yogi ji.

26th January-

Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotic zeal. It started with taking out a “Prabhat Pheri” by our students singing patriotic songs and chanting “Bharat Mata ki Jai”. After flag hoisting by Director Ma’am, Ujjwala Shanker, the “Bal Mela” for the students was declared open. It was greatly enjoyed by students and parents alike.There were various food and games stalls. The whole day was abuzz with fun and frolic.

4th February-

Farewell was organised for our Class 12. All arrangements were done by Class 11 with great excitement. Miss Holy Shrine was Arti Kumari and Mr Holy Shrine was Shiva Kumar. They were crowned by the Principal Mrs Chhaya Asthana. Titles were given to all students by their juniors. It was a nostalgic moment for everyone. Many outgoing students had moist eyes as they reminisced about the good times they had spent in school.

UP Board Results

UP Board results came on 25th April 2025 and as usual our students performed very well Divyanshu Yadav scored 100% in Maths . Kunal Gupta scored 96% in Maths. Khushi Singh scored 90% in Sociology. We wish all our students the very best for their future.
